Hi,

(she/her)

My core values are connection + freedom;
these values are infused throughout my life
and guide my professional practice.

I work from a relational and collaborative approach which means I value the experiences and wisdom that you bring and do not centre myself as the expert. I believe there are many ways towards healing and wellness; together, we will draw upon our knowledge, skills, and strengths to support your path towards freedom.

Many of us are seeking freedom - the freedom of choice, the freedom to unlearn harmful messages forced on us by systems and individuals, freedom from suffering - even for a moment, freedom to be somewhere different than we currently are. Therapy can be a doorway to freedom.

What does freedom mean to you?

Outside of work, I am often snuggling my dog, trying to pet other people’s dogs (with consent, of course), doing yoga, wandering through the trees, attending live performances, starting and not finishing books, and laughing with loved ones.

“I can still

while living in an unfree world”

I value transparency.

I strive to practice authenticity in my interactions (let’s be real, this can be tough at times). I bring a lot of my personality into my work and value the power of humor.

The things you are ashamed of and struggle with…I can relate.

I may not have experienced exactly what you have but I’ve spent much of my life avoiding vulnerability and hiding from shame. We are human, we all experience this.

We all experience failure, setbacks, and times of struggle.

This means we are living life. I am dedicated to helping people learn practices to stand back up when life knocks us down.

We are more capable than we realize.

We all have that voice that tells us we are not good enough.  There is no “right” or “correct” way of doing life, yet many of us are missing out on the life we want because of this myth. Focusing on empowerment and utilizing collaboration, we will explore what is right for your unique needs and experiences.

We are all doing the best we can.

This may not always feel true, both for ourselves and for the people around us. However, we may just be using old strategies that simply no longer serve us. I am committed to supporting people connect with their resiliency and courage to try out new ways of engaging with life.

We heal in relationships.

Being seen in relationships can be hard but not as hard as living in isolation.
